Haze. Cool. Mostly sunny. Mild. Osaka, Japan was a largely populated and busy city that had a natrual flow to it. Alex Kobayashi, an eighteen year old girl from Wakayama, a town where everybody seemed to know something about everyone, was used to none of this when she first moved into the town. But she has no trouble fitting in when she enters college.
Retroffect, a well known Mikansei U band with a goal of rising to the top chooses Alex as their new drummer, but due to her androgynous appearance, she is mistaken for a guy. Once her gender is found out, the lives of the band member change drastically as they are faced with issues of love, sex, crime, and the good old media.
