She is truly complex, she has occasional mood sings causing people not to be around her anymore. She is depressed but she puts on a act so she won't bring anyone down. She can be at times very enjoyable.
To get to know Kenz you have to brake down her outer shell. Once you brake down that outer shell you find that she is very sweet and caring. She acts hard and with no emotions. She can be bossy and over-demanding. She is high tempered but she can't help it. Once you get to know her you figure out that it is an act.

Meredith Dempsey was working as an intern at Seattle Grace hospital when she met Derek Neer, a resident. They fell in love instantly but their fairytale had a lot of bumps in the road because they were doctors that worked a lot. Derek eventually proposed to Meredith after his mother gave him the ring. Meredith accepted.
When Meredith's friend Isabella got diagnosed with cancer Derek and Meredith's relationship was strained because Mer wanted Isabella to not have the surgery; Derek wanted her to. Isabella eventually went with Derek and had the surgery but died in the process. The death cause Derek and Meredith to get married right away unless something happened to one of them.
Meredith figured that she was pregnant four months later. Derek was happy but Meredith's best friend Christina thought that it would ruin her career. Meredith was rushed to the hospital four weeks before Kenzie was supposed to be born. She had a c-section and they had their first child who was born prematurely. Little Miss Mackenzie Christina Neer.
Meredith and Derek eventually moved in with Derek's mother. Meredith went back to work so that left Kenzie at home with her retired grandma. She gotten used to her parents not being home a lot. She enjoyed living with her grandma.
When Meredith found out about the school trip and didn't want Mackenzie to go. But Christina persuaded Meredith and Derek to let Kenzie to go. Kenzie went but found herself stuck on an island that wasn't Lundy.
