DEARDIARY, sigh, i miss malibu already. i mean, it's great down here in eastside - i love the new house we live in - but after visiting my old hometown again, it just made me feel a little homesick. i mean, we don't get great beaches in eastside. and it's not always sunny. and you don't see celebrities every five seconds.
but still, i'm glad to be back to see me pets. mittens is sitting on my lap, purring like crazy! and bolt's beside me on my bed. and rhino is ... somewhere. anyway, i missed them.
i have to admit, it was kind of nice to go on another family trip - fourth one this year!. i always enjoy them - it kind of reminds me of the old days, when adelyn and i were inseperable. now we're like two totally different people. her friends hate my friends. and i don't really like her friends that much either.
but anyway, here's the real reason i'm writing: i'm going on yet another trip! except with this one, mom and dad aren't coming. it's a school trip to the island of lundy! I've been to england before, but not there! i'm super-excited.
some of my friends are going, including june. i'm not sure if adelyn will be going yet - it might be a little weird having her go. since this would be the first vacation where we don't really talk. i mean, she'll be with her friends, and i'll be with mine.
oh well, we're still family i guess. LOVE,CALLISTA. |

DEARDIARY, it's official, adelyn's along for the ride. sure, it'll be nice to have a bit or security, knowing that i still have family there and all. but still, it'll be drama to the max. i can so see addie and luci fighting it out with me and massie. sometimes things were just easier when we had the same friends. even though i can't imagine me hanging out with most of the girls from her crowd.
i wonder what i'll pack? i just got some fab stuff in malibu, but maybe i can get adelyn to convince mom and dad to take us into the city to get some more things. there's this cute little patterned dress i've been eyeing - i'd like to wear that for the flight. i want to look like i know what i'm doing on a plane (which i do).
i wonder if richard allen is going? okay, i know he's a bit of a dork, but he's kinda cute too. like, in a totally weird way. i'm not going to tell anyone that, though! he'd probably find out, and think i'm super-weird. but maybe we'll get to know each other if he goes on the trip. i don't talk to him that much though. i'm a little shy.
you know what, i think i'll leave it here. i have some stuff to do! like returning addie's shirt before she finds out i stole it ... LOVE,CALLISTA. |
