personal style:
Blast from the past. That would pretty much sum up Lindsey's whole look. She's really into tight fitting jeans, sometimes skinny, sometimes flare, and she always compliments them with her favorite pair of black Converse sneakers. It would be almost impossible for someone to see Lindsey without her Converse on, unless she was at home. She loves to wear classic rock band t-shirts, like The Ramones or The Clash, and sometimes t-shirts with cool designs on that. Basically anything relating to music or art. She doesn't really paint her face with too much make-up, only a small amount of mascara or cover up if she needed it. When it comes to jewelry, she tends to change her earring style everyday. One day she'd have a single color stud in and then the next she'd have something crazy like dangling stars or music notes in. The one piece of jewelry she never leaves home without putting on is a necklace that she grandmother gave her with a single angel wing on a chain. It's simple and plain, but it means the world to Lindsey.
appearance:
Lindsey has always been told that she was born with her mother's bone structure. Even right after she was born, her father, grandmother, and aunt all agreed that Lindsey was going to grow up and be just as beautiful as her mother. As she grew older, everyone stuck true with their original assumption. She was a spitting image of her mother. Her curly, deep brown hair and the natural curvature of her chin were one and the same on both Lindsey and her mother. She did get granted something from her father, though. Her blue eyes which always seemed to look like she was struck by some type of horrible tragedy, even though she hadn't been. Her eyebrows are thin and narrow, something she has shaped over the years, and even though her hair can be uncontrolablr, that doesn't bother her. That's who she is and if someone doesn't like it, then she really couldn't care less.
Some people would consider Lindsey rather tall, standing at five foot seven, but others would consider her rather short. She doesn't really know what she would catergorize it, by she is very awkward with her height. She wished that she was shorter, even though some girls would kill to be her height. She is on the thin side, weighing about one hundred and twenty pounds. She's not just thin, though. She is a healthy thin. She knows what's right and wrong to eat to keep her body shape in the way it is, and she oblides to that most of the time. Sure she has some slip ups here and there, but who could turn down a cookie covered in icing? Even though most girls aren't happy with their weight now adays, always trying to be thinner, Lindsey is quite content with the way she is. She knows that she has and she's not afraid to flaunt it if the occassion calls for it.

overall personality:
Most people really don't understand Lindsey and how complex she actually is. They just look at her and see a pretty face and that's it. Little do they know who she really is. That's probably why Lindsey doesn't get along with most people and sticks to herself most of the time, trying hard not to make eye contact which would, in her eyes, just lead to an awkward silence that would probably never be broken. That is the one part of Lindsey that isn't like her mother's or her father's, which is her personality. She has always been more of an introverted girl, not really standing out unless someone was looking for her, which didn't bother her in the slightest. The less human contact she had, the better, mainly because she has always been horrible about starting up conversation. Some people would peg her as socially inempt, but that's not the cold, hard truth. She knew that she didn't want to deal with people, so she tried to avoid them.
Lindsey can be a rather over nervous person, always worrying about her next move and were it could land her. She also believes that everything has a place and if it's not in it's place, then there's going to be some problems. She is even worse when she's around boys that she has an attraction to. She seems to have a hard layer that she puts up and flaunts around when in reality, it's just her nerves getting the best of her. She has never really been one to wear her heart on her sleeve, only having a few boyfriends here and there and only one that was really serious, but she is a very compassionate individual. Like every girl out there, she just wants someone to come along and sweep her off her feet, but she has lost her faith in that and has grown to hate fairy tales and how they always have happy endings. She'd much rather read something that had some type pain or suffering in it, because that's what she can relate to. If anyone had seen her drawings and sketches, they'd realize what was going on in her head. She was just as lost as everyone else, but she just masquerades over it with a smile or little to no actual human contact.
Once someone were to breakdown Lindsey's hard outer layer, they would realize what an excellent person is actually is. She's sweet and a fierce friend. She would do anything to someone she cares about, whether it be her little sister, brother, or a friend. She's not one who's afraid of the conciquences of her actions. If someone is hurting someone she loves, then it's all downhill from there. Lindsey can also be very talkitive after someone takes the time to get to know her. If they do, to her, that means that they actually care about what she has to say or what happened to her the night before. Whichever way you look at it, she's a completely different person once you get to know her. She can get rather jealous, though, when it comes to some things in her life. If a friend is dating someone who she used to date or wanted to date, then she tends to become rather jealous toward the person. Sometimes, she wishes that she could go back in time to when things were innocent and easy, but she then thinks about how she can only go up from here.

history:
When Jamison and Richard, a newly wed couple, found out that they were going to have a child together, the variation of feelings between them were unimaginable. For, this child was going to be a suvenior from their honeymoon, a rather odd one but a suvenior at that. You see, the couple's path hadn't really been a smooth one. When they first met eachother in a board room meeting in Cleveland, Ohio, Richard knew right then that he was in love with the mysterious artist by the name of Jamison, but she was going to be harder to convince than just the whole 'love at first sight' thing. She had just been through a terrible break up with a boyfriend that cheated on her so she really wasn't all that interested in trusting anyone. She did, though, feel a slight connection with the man. Enough of a connection to reluctantly give him her number. The two had dinner a few days later and when they started getting really close, Jamison pulled away and jetted back to her home in Los Angeles. She knew that she had feelings for the man, she was just afraid to let them show through. When Richard realized that she wasn't coming back, he decided to take things into his own hands and find her for himself.
After about a month and a half of unanswered phone calls, Jamison finally picked up and answered when Richard called and to her surprise, he was standing outside of her apartment. It was like something of a comedy show where one man would seemlessly do anything for the love of his life, and Jamison was it. After all that time, Jamison knew that there was something special about Richard and took a chance on him. Five years of dating later, the two were married. Soon after the honeymoon, as stated earlier, the two welcomed the news of their first child with both shock and awe. They knew that something like that was going to happen, and they definately wanted kids, but they weren't sure if they were ready. When Jamison came home one day and saw their first child's nursery completely and fully decorated and beautiful, she then knew that the two were ready to welcome the little child into their life. On July 12th, Jamison had started labor and their first child was on the way.
Three hours of hard labor later, the world welcomed Lindsey Abigail Reynolds into it with open arms. Love was showered onto the child and she was seemingly spoiled, always getting picked up whenever she cried or anything like that. After they had seen how well they did with the first child, the couple decided to have another, which would also be a girl, Cassandra March Reynolds. Lindsey quickly found herself attached to her younger sister, always watching out for her and helping to feed her from the bottle. It was said that Lindsey's motherly instinct came out when Cassandra was born even though she was still very young herself. Another surprise pregnancy a few month within having Cassandra led the couple into their third, and final, child, a boy this time. Lindsey also seemed to try and watch out for her baby brother as well. No one even had to tell her to watch out for her younger siblings, she just seemed to know. The family was the picture of the American Dream. Both parents were working, one from home, and the children all cared for eachother.
A few years later, the family picked up and moved. As the siblings grew older, Lindsey still tended to watch out for her younger brother and sister, even though they really didn't need it anymore. Since the family couldn't afford to send all of their children on the trip, only Lindsey, their oldest, was allowed to go. It's safe to say that Lindsey has started to have feelings for Brett Bowers, even though she'd never admit it out loud.

roleplay sample:
Even though it was Feburary, the weather was changing. It would be spring soon, which was probably for the best. Winter in New York City was never fun. The snow fall was excessive, the air was bitterly cold, and still the streets were crowded. Many people would think that one would get used to the craziness if they'd lived there their entire life, but that was definately not the case. Take Peyton Sawyer for example. She had lived in New York City her whole sixteen years and she still hadn't gotten used to winter time in the city. At least Christmas was over, which just happened to be the most crowded and overly insane time of ther year here, even if they decorations were beautiful. The only people who really enjoyed them were the people who knew were to stand when they lit up that Christmas tree, and Peyton had known since she was little thanks to her mother.
Peyton's mother wasn't her biological mother, but she definately was her real mother. She always had the best time with her and when she died, it completely broke the five year old Peyton. As she stood on the concrete sidewalk, Peyton closed her eyes as the chilly wind beat against her face. It reminded her of when she would sit on her father's shoulders, holding her mother's hand and watching the gigantic Christmas tree come to life right in front of her. In a way, she wished that she could have that innocence again, but she knew that was never going to happen. After everything that had happened to her, it was almost impossible. She missed her mother, well her mothers. Peyton really wasn't the most lucky girl in the world, having to deal with the death of two mothers on her head. She met her biological mother about three months ago and the two were getting pretty close, but that's when the cancer took over her body and took her Peyton's life. One cruel person had even told Peyton before that her 'I love yous send people to the grave.' Of course, she didn't show how upset she was with this comment, but it did really shake her.
Opening her eyes, Peyton was wisked back to reality and took in a deep breath of the cold air. She then turned around when she heard a street performer braving the cold. She went over and reached into her pocket, pulling out a wrinkled dollar bill. She placed it in the young man's guitar case and smiled lightly at him. She then backed up and watched him continue to play as a small group began to form around the young man. Peyton then bit her bottom lip and then turned to leave. She loved music more than anything. Well, maybe not as much as art, but she loved them both. She would've loved to stand there and listen to the man play his guitar all day long, but there were just getting to be too many people for Peyton to handle at the moment. She didn't know where she was going to go, she just knew that she had to walk away, even though it was hard. She looked at the cracked, concrete underneath her feet with her hands shoved into the pockets of her brown, leather jacket. Because she wasn't looking up, she then ran straight into someone, causing her head to look up at the person who a look of embarassment on her face and pain in her eyes.
