The best places in the world are said to be small country towns, though some city people seem to think that's wrong and small country towns are the death to society. Honestly, who would want to live in a town where all there is to do is go to barn balls in the town square? Well, you may just be surprised at what a small town like Port Isabel, Texas could get you into.
Some towns folk call it the town of music and for a good reason to. Some just call it creepy. Some would even go as far as calling Port Isabel paradise. It all depends on which side of the town the your actually seeing, or hearing about.
Port Isabel is home to the famous country singer Bill Sandford who had ran out on his own town and first love. Behind him he left sorrow and hate, but he had brought the sound of music to Port Isabel, and now all of the main events of the town deals with its own little muscians.
It is said that supernatural things exsist, things that no one can believe until they see it. In the outside world Port Isabel is said to be the home to different spieces, though the towns folk simply laugh about it because with it being a small town everyone knows everyone and nobody is "creepy" or supernatural...to their knowledge that is. The supernaturals had been able to live in peace, with only a few people actually knowing they exsist in Port Isabel. However, crime is not a big thing in Port Isabel, it's a rather safe place to be, but when one of the locals ends up being found dead in the forest, questions start to arise making the towns folk wonder just how safe their little town is. But thats not the first attack either, mysterious crimes take place and no one can pin-point who is doing such terrible acts. In an attempt to save themselves from being discovered, the spieces heads come out of the closet at a town meeting; though, the do try to reassure that they are not the ones responsible for the deaths and attacks but it might have been supernaturals who are not part of the local families. The town becomes panicked, and suspcious, some believe them after knowing how long the heads had actually lived in the town and not a single crime was done by them, some don't.
Although most of the town accepts the supernaturals, and even tries to accomodate them, some of the towns folk are not so happy about it and behind everyones back forms a group that will somehow chase them away from Port Isabel, or kill them of need be. But at the same time, attacks keep happening and the only ones who may be able to save the towns people is the supernaturals as long as they promise to keep their identity hidden from the rest of the world. And because of this, a bond was made, a promise was formed by both groups that no harm would come to any of them by each other and the knowledge of the supernaturals would be hidden from the travelers and those outside of the town. It would be as if they had never came out of the closet. However, near a creek is a bridge that separates a little area of Port Isabel from the rest, and this area was blocked off just for the supernaturals to have someplace where they didn't have to hide, and to keep normal folk from enterting. The bridge that led you across the deep creek to the supernaturals forest was damaged and broken so no one can walk across. However, some do tend to get across from time to time.
All in all though, despite the attacks, Port Isabel can and is seen as paradise. With its beach along the sea shore and the friendly people, why wouldn't it be?
