It was bright and beautiful. She didn't know what to say and didn't know if she wanted to say anything. She missed her home more than anything in the world. She missed her family and everything back home more than anything. What would her parents say when they find out that she wasn't at Lundy?
Sophie leaned down and grabbed her bag. She wanted to go and explore. She didn't know who she would meet but didn't care. Sophie was the new girl and didn't have a lot of friends. She headed into the forest not knowing where she was going to end up. When she was at home she would always watch shows about people getting stranded on an island and dieing. She would do anything for that not to happen.
When Sophie was 10 minutes into the forest she found a creek. It was a beautiful creek and its water was clear. She hoped over some rocks until she found a nice and clean place to sit. She gently placed her bag on the ground and pulled out her water bottle. She popped off the lid and began to fill her bottle up.

This place sure wasn't a vacation spot but it was gorgeous. Chase had lived all over the world all his life but he had never experienced a place like this. It was a confusing place where someone could really learn about themselves. This was already true for Chase. After finally coming to his senses that he may not see his family again he realized how much he truely cared about them. Even his little annoying sister Mary. It gave him a new outlook on life.
Everyone sat around trying to figure out what to do with themselves. After an hour of doing nothing useful Chase grabbed his water bottle and set out into the forest. It seemed as though his survival skills were kicking in but it just may have been that he needed something to do. He couldn't standing being around some of the people back at the plane so he needed to get away.
The sunlight was blocked out when you walked into the depths of the forest. Each step made a crunching sound upon the leaves. As he walked, Chase's eyes scanned the trees for something to eat. Ahead, he spotted a rather large banana tree. He leaned his water bottle against the tree and climbed up onto one of it's branches. He returned to the ground with two bananas in hand.
The sound of water was present in the distance. With water bottle and bananas in hand Chase followed the sound of water. After about five minutes of hiking he could see the creek. As he approached it he also noticed a girl sitting across the way. He quickly jumped on a rock to cross the creek and stood beside the girl who he recognized from school. "Are you all right?" he said oferng her one of the bananas in his hand. [/blockquote] |

Everything was so quiet, she liked the quiet it was very peaceful. She slipped off her shoes and placed them next to her and swished her feet in the water when she saw a boy next to her. "Yea I'm fine." She said as she took the banana from the boy's hand. "Thanks." She said with a smile.
She had seen the boy from school a lot but never talked to him or really anyone. She was often lonely but she had gotten used to it. "Whats your name?" She asked the boy as she pushed some of her hair back into a ponytail. She placed her hands into the water to try and get the dirt off of them. She hated that she wasn't able to take showers anymore.

Chase sat down next to the girl after she had taken the banana from his hand. He nodded when she had thanked him. “No problem,” he said with a smile. Chase’s eyes took in his surroundings as he peeled the yellow peel off his own banana. He took a rather large bite and stared into the water. This was by far the best banana he had had in his life. He swallowed the banana and answered the girl beside him with his name, “I’m Chase, Chase Parker,” he paused taking another bite from his banana, “And your name?”
As Chase sat beside this girl he wondered about what was next. Would rescue come or would they be left to live here forever? After taking the last bite out of his banana, Chase rose from his sitting position and got on his knees near the water’s edge. He pulled out his water bottle and un-screwed the cap. He held the bottle in the current of the water until it was almost filled. He raised his hand from the water and put the cap back on. Instead of returning to his spot beside the girl he stayed right where he was.
Chase stared down into the water at his reflection. He hadn’t seen himself for some time and he wished he hadn’t looked. A small cut was sliced across one side of his forehead. It had probably happened during the crash. Chase vaguely remembered hitting his head off something. Using his hand as a cup, Chase scooped up some water and splashed it onto his forehead. |

Sophie asked. She never knew where she could find food. She hasn't eaten really anything for a while. But she fought the pain. "Nice. I'm Sophia Turner but everyone calls me Sophie." She said smiling. She reached over to her bag and pulled out a towel. As she pulled the towel over she slit part of her hand on a rock. It stung as she placed it in the water.
Sophie pulled her hand out of the water and wrapped the towel around her hand. She sat there trying to fight the pain. She pulled her bag closer and opened it to see if she had any bandages. She found a one. She moved the towel and wrapped the bandage around her hand very gently.
